The unique feature of this spacious holiday home is that, whilst enjoying the privacy of a ½ acre garden and stunning views of the fairytale castle of Lubersac, you can enjoy all the benefits of village life. The house is situated in the middle of the picturesque market town of Lubersac in the far west corner of the Corrèze. The town is of enormous historic interest and its neighbouring town of Pompadour is famous for its châteaux and links with the equestrian world. Also close-by - is the village of Ségur le Château, one of the ‘Prettiest Villages in France’. The house is spacious, airy and is tastefully decorated with high quality finishes. After a hard days sightseeing – or swimming in the private, luxury swimming pool – you can retire to the glassed-in terrace (which has its own bar area) and relax with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings. Next to the pool and patio area is a second little house, with a twin bedroom, perfect for kids! . The historic centres of Limoges, Perigueux, Brive and Sarlat are all within an hours drive.

The Local Area

The nearby town of Lubersac has a huge range of facilities and amenities – 3 large supermarkets, petrol station, banks, post office, bakeries, butcher, newsagents, gift shops, hair-dressers, library, tennis courts, go-karting track, computer room with free internet use, restaurants (including the highly acclaimed Chateau de la Fragne), bars, public gardens, markets, public swimming pool, lake, leisure centre and tourist office. All within walking distance are many lakes, rivers and country walks - plus you are only five minutes walk from the train station with links to Brive and Limoges. Of course, for shopping, you have the cities of Brive, Perigueux and Limoges – all less than an hours drive away.

If you fancy a days trip out – Sarlat, Rouffignac, Lascaux, Domme, Beynac and Brantome are all worth a visit.

Notes to the rental rates

A supplement of 40 Euros per week is charged during the off peak season to cover heating.

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due six weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If booking is made within 6 weeks, then full payment is required on arrival.

Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday except by special arrangement.

A key/security deposit of €200 will also be required at the time of booking to cover any accidental damage/breakages. This security deposit will be refunded after departure, subject to there being no damage to or excess cleaning of the property.

Long winter lets available at reduced rates.
