The land is accessed by a private track and the lake is surrounded by fenced-in land. Ideal for a couple wanting a peaceful holiday with the knowledge they have complete privacy in a magnificent setting. Near to Limoges airport - with cheap flights from Ryanair - operating out of Stansted, East Midlands and Liverpool airports. Dogs welcome.

The Accommodation
Small Chalet (24m2) overlooking the lake.
Comprises: Recently refurbished kitchen/seating area for 4 persons with electric 4-ring hob, small oven, sink. One bedroom with 1 double bed and one single bed, wardrobe. All necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, duvets and pillows, towels and bed linen for 3 persons are provided. Recently installed shower room with WC and washbasin. Just off the kitchen there is a large decked area (30m2) with patio furniture. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity whilst enjoying impressive views over the lake - and in the distance – a fairytale chateau.
On site facilities
A seating/picnic area with BBQ. Supplied are 2 x bicycles ( 1 x female, 1 x male ) 1 x 2-man canoe and 1 x 1-man canoe. If you fancy a spot of fishing – there are some large carp, roach, dace and perch in the lake. A fiishing rod is also supplied.
Also Included in the price: pitch for touring caravan with its own toilet/shower block with one toilet, one shower, one washbasin. Water and electric hook-up is available at the shower block

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking with the balance due six weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If booking is made within 6 weeks, then full payment is required on arrival.
Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday except by special arrangement.
A key/security deposit of 200 euros will also be required 6 weeks prior to the rental period to cover any accidental damage/breakages. This security deposit will be refunded after departure, subject to there being no damage to - or excess cleaning of the property.
Special rates available for long off-peak periods. Electric radiators can be supplied and charged on meter.
Bedlinen and towels are supplied.

PLEASE NOTE: The lake is not fenced off and is unsuitable for small children. Children should be supervised at all times.
Situated in the Correze region of South West France, this area boasts many tourist attractions. Within walking distance is a large country park with lake and public beach. Here there are many designated country walks plus tennis, mini golf and a park restaurant.
The historic town of Masseret is only 5kms away – with its bakers, butchers, gastronomic restaurant, pharmacy, supermarket, hairdressers and newsagents. Masseret is also noted for its magnificent tower which dominates the town.
Masseret also has a train station with trains direct to the ancient city of Limoges – world famous for its porcelain. Limoges is only ½ an hours drive away and here there are plenty of cultural attractions: Take a walk around La Cité (the old City), which includes Saint-Stephen Cathedral, along with the Bishop's Palace and gardens. Explore some mysterious underground passages. The Limoges Tourist Office organises guided tours. Visit the Musée de l'Evéché, which presents one of the largest collections of world-famous enamels. The Museum also boasts a wide range of Impressionist paintings by Renoir, who was born in Limoges. Nearby - discover the Resistance Museum which shows the history of Limoges during the Second World War.
Excellent road links from the A20 motorwayand the lake is only 5kms from exit 43. Flights available to Limoges and Bergerac International Airports from London-Stansted, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Southampton, Liverpool, Jersey and Edinburgh with Ryanair and Flybe.
