The Correze is plentiful with rivers, lakes, gorges and waterfalls and is therefore a paradise for canoeists, boaters, windsurfers and, water-skiers. There is an abundance of quality fishing and safe bathing for those who prefer gentler activities.

On the banks of the Auvezere you'll find Segur le Chateau with its looming castle: The Eleventh Century chateau town of Turenne, which overlooks the town of Collognes la Rouges and owes its name to its red stone buildings. There is also the town of Cuemonte with its three castles: Saint Robert which is a medieval village with a Romanesque church: And on the upper gorges of the Vezere can be found Treignac, a paradise for canoeing and rafting. Uzerche, a medieval town circled entirely by the river Vezere is also worth a visit.

This detached gite is set in its own valley and the farm covers over 80 hectares of beautiful countryside. You can relax on our half acre lawn under the shade of our 300 year old oak tree and look down over our carp lake.

The lake is well stocked, and guests are welcome to fish at no extra charge. Excellent location for discovering the Limousin and the Dordogne.
